The Cake that was promised

Cutting cake in class is vandalism; fine. Applying cake on someone’s face is more vandalism; still fine. The miscreants are to be punished; agreed. But the class isn’t coming forward with any information about who the miscreants are and hence the whole class has to be punished; very extremely fair. Making a big deal out of something which the people concerned just didn’t bother much; just what justice is all about. But what concerns me is that we didn’t get cake from Hot Breads as we were first told! That, my dear people, is what strikes me as being extremely unjust on her part. Where’s our cake from Hot Breads?! Whatever happened to justice in this world!

The Greatest Message of the Century!!

People often ask me what I feel about the kind of response my blog is getting. Of course I hide the truth from them. I say “Oh I don’t check with the responses that much, really.”
All that, of course, is considering the person in question is not a creepy mind reader. If the person were a creepy mind reader I have absolutely no clue what I’d tell. Maybe if such a creepy mind reader does exist he wouldn’t have to ask me to know right? All he has to do is start a conversation about my blogs and I’d automatically think about what I think about the response I get. So I wouldn’t have to be embarrassed after all caught red handedly while lying.
Although, people who are non-creepy mind readers can check this webcomic out:http://www.xkcd.com/635/ It is, strangely enough, relevant to the blog. And as if this level of strangeness wasn’t enough, that comic somewhat sums up how we bloggers are.
So aspiring new bloggers this message I pass on to you as no other senior blogger has passed on to me. It is out of humanness that still lingers in me and pity for co-bloggers that I say this to you. I am not allowed to tell you people this. Hence here is my clue. Decipher it oh bright ones!
Take Your Time!

The Adayar River

Adayar is one of the widest rivers of Tamil Nadu. Being a regular visitor (courtesy MRTS) it is but an absolute delight watching the mighty river stand still in all its greatness. The several exotic shades of green the river displays is a sight for the sore eyes seeing the usual boring colours of the buildings. Some of these shades of greens are unheard-of, wonderfully cheerful and artistic! Whoever said only God could come up with wonderful colours! Look what men have got out of the boring clear water of the river and a few exhausts! Everyday it's a new shade of green and on no day does it ever get boring. After experiencing this wonder I do but wonder why some people call the river polluted… only they can answer this question…

Excursion and other things

Excursion… the word usually works magic in my mind. Well it didn’t work any magic this time around. Many reasons for it. The most obvious would be the absence of the swell group we had last year. Not to mention last year was our first overnight trip and it created a lot more excitement than anything else. I doubt I’d have been more excited if my dad came into my room and announced that he’s getting me my own mobile connection with a Nokia N97 to go with it. But this year it was as less exciting as dad coming into my room to see what I was reading trying to make sure I don’t waste time creating blogs.

Well it did come as a surprise that the excursion, as it turned out to be, was as exciting as dad coming into my room to announce he’s getting me my own mobile connection. Not as good but good enough for me. Yet my mind did go to N97 and how wonderful it could’ve been… not to be blamed for it. Who wouldn’t want a mobile for her own use and N97 to go with it?

The room was better than last year’s the food was pretty much on the same levels. The value addition was, no doubt, the bonfire (and others may envy us from now) and the fact that we were in Sterling Resorts, one of the country’s leading holiday resort groups. The let down was the fact that boys and girls didn’t get a chance to travel together. As much as I fear this would be interpreted as a cliché by one and all I’d like to make a confession boys are the fun quotient of an excursion. They make sure there aren’t many a dull moments. Unfortunately we girls weren’t given a privilege of their honorable company. This I say from my heart as much as I said last year that the guys in the bus were a pain in the neck.

‘Twas fun anyway. Yes it could’ve been better but I’d say we were lucky we had this much. Among other things no one nauseated while coming downhill in our van… either everyone had the will power to get over it or everyone slept in all the bad quality sound in which Ayan was playing. Either way no one nauseated and it's good enough for us all.

Hullo!

I know "Deserted Cities of the Heart..." is going on pretty well. It is in fact much better than i expected it to be. But recently, well after I started blogging with that title, "Paperback Writer" struck me. As some of you may know it’s a song by "the" Beatles. After long hours of listening to Beatles, Pink Floyd and the likes you may have little or no knowledge about I thought ' Wont "Paperback Writer" be a good title for a blog?' well it seemed like a good idea then! And I thought of changing the name but I got so close to this name I just didn’t want to let go of it. And, as course turned out, I didn’t either. Well yet another prose blog maybe. But what to publish in this new blog? I kept thinking and thinking and thinking. I did so much thinking I ought to say people who do actual thinking in this world would’ve been jealous of how much I could think.

Unlike giving ideas for my friend’s birthday party, which if I may add is the worst job ever, this time around a little *ting* noise was heard simultaneously as a bulb glowed over my head. It was simple and crude but one of my best ideas ever, well one of my best ideas ever so far. I think I will be able to carry you through the exact line of my thought.

“What did I start ‘Deserted…’ with? ‘A vague idea of re-inventing the various treasured moments of one’s life’ like it even happened! So what did I end up doing? Well using up space for a word document to type blogs in, typing useless blogs, publishing them and forcing people I know to go through the time-consuming job of reading those pointless blogs. Seems fun and it was fun. Anyway what should I name it? Oh yes! ‘Paperback Writer’ (‘Sir or Madame…’ Oops! Singing the song!) Seems a good name. I guess it is. Fine with the name now the link? What is my first one? ‘arthiblogs’ So… nope! No ideas! Well maybe… Yep! This one is so cool I am laughing at it! ‘arthiblogsmore’ Perfect! Let me come back to these thoughts after creating it.”

And after that all I had to do was open the word page and start typing what I am thinking, or is it ‘was thinking’? And thus this blog was born! What am I going to do here? That is unanswered. I think it’ll be one of Earth’s mysteries that never get solved. But no this one will get solved, or so I believe, or so I believe I believe, or so… I should stop.

Is this one big enough? I’m not getting any more ideas! My brain hurts!
